Here was the original problem:

Discover the pattern and find the next two numbers in this sequence:

0, 6, 20, 42, ...

 

 

Here is the solution:

 

0 x 1 = 0

2 x 3 = 6

4 x 5 = 20

6 x 7 = 42

 

So, the next two numbers would be:

 

8 x 9 = 72  and   10 x 11 = 110
